Surgery and other procedures
Do you need an occasional intervention?
Surgeries and other procedures that can involve a certain risk for the patient’s life
General surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopaedic surgery and neurosurgery, fiberendoscopies and minimal-invasion surgery, placement of thoracic drainages, thoracocentesis, nutrition tubes, abdominal drainages… The referring vet can decide whether to request an occasional intervention from us or refer the case. If the vet decides to refer the case (see Referral), responsibility falls on SURvet, if the vet decides to request the intervention as an occasional service, it must necessarily be requested in writing, clearly stipulating the desired procedure and the subsequent handling of the patient .
